The APPG for the Polar Regions welcomes Parliamentarians, old and new, back to Westminster. We exist to raise awareness of Polar issues within government and the wider Polar community. Through our work, we aim to:
- Keep the UK Parliament informed about the polar regions and polar activities
- To be a non-political source of information, advice and knowledge for the UK Parliament and UK Parliamentarians
- To advocate for greater UK involvement and interest in polar research, polar governance and polar environments
Whether you have policy interests in the polar regions (be that environment, defence, geopolitics, economics or cultural), or indeed simply have an interest in the Arctic or Antarctic regions, we are here to bring you the latest news and information to keep you informed and updated on key issues.
We very much look forward to working with you all.
